The Commanding Officer of 2319 Vale of Leven Squadron is Flight Lieutenant George Campbell, his staff are Flying Officer Hugh Ford, Adult Warrant Officer Derek Carruthers and Civilian Instructors Joe Connelly, Kirkbride, Belk, Cameron, Mullem, Gibson, McCulloch and Glancy.

The Squadron meets every Tuesday and Thursday 19:30 (7:30pm) until 21:030 (9:030pm), the Squadron address is :- ATC Hut, Heather Avenue, Alexandria, Dumbartonshire. G83 0TJ.

The squadron takes part in many activities including Sports, Adventure Training, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and Nijmegen training this is in addition to the normal syllabus of Aviation based subjects. Projects include training aids and taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

On the first night a new cadet will be given a presentation of the squadron by a senior cadet, given a tour of the premises and then introduced to the cadets from there they will participate in the activities.

If you are between 13 years and 17.5 years and you have ever wanted to try powered flying or gliding or wanted to learn new skills like map reading, first aid, leadership etc. then the ATC should be your next stop.
